How do I book a tour?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or fill in the inquiry form on any tour page. We reply with availability and the price for your group, and confirm your pickup time the evening before.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
Yes. Hotel pickup is included on most tours from Stone Town, Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje, Jambiani, Michamvi and Matemwe. Pickup times vary by area and we confirm yours when you book.
Why do sandbank tours change times?
Sandbanks only appear at low tide, so the start time moves each day with the tides. We plan your trip around the tide table so you get the most time on the sand.
What should I wear in Stone Town?
Zanzibar is mostly Muslim. In towns and villages, cover your shoulders and knees. Swimwear is fine on the beach and on boats.
Are the tours good for children?
Yes. Spice farm, Prison Island, Jozani and the sandbank are all popular with families. Children under 12 get a lower price, and under 4 usually go free.
Are park and entry fees included?
Each tour page lists what is included. Some entry fees (for example Jozani or the tortoise sanctuary) are paid in cash on the day.
When is the best time to visit Zanzibar?
June to October is dry and sunny, and December to February is hot and good for the sea. The long rains are usually from April to May.
