Overview
Mnemba Atoll is a protected marine conservation area off the north-east coast. Its reef has the clearest water around Zanzibar and the most colourful fish.
Boats leave from Matemwe or Nungwi. You snorkel two spots on the reef, often see green turtles, and dolphins are a common bonus on the way.
