Taste cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg straight from the plant.
Zanzibar earned the name Spice Island from its clove plantations. On a family-run farm you see, smell and taste cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla and lemongrass.
The farmers climb a coconut palm for you, weave baskets and hats from palm leaves, and finish with a tasting of fresh tropical fruit and spiced tea.
